wingnut 27 Posted February 16, 2009 Report Share Posted February 16, 2009 Below are some trout from a recent fishing trip to Lechlade Trout Fisheries, the weather was not the best half the lake was frozen but good sport none the less well worth the 110 mile drive, they weighed in at 8lb 2oz, 7lb 5 oz, 7lb 4 oz and 6lb 9 oz my mate caught a 10lb 2oz, i caught these fish on a hot head nymph, flexi leg daddie with a gold head and a hybrid buzzer. aaronpigeonplucker 32 Posted February 17, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2009 do you do any crayfish and yabby trapping in australia? i do it on american signal crayfish over here. there delicous and there introduced so theres no bag limit! sometimes you don't need a trap even! you just chuck a chicken carcass or a rabbit carass on a rope, wait twenty minutes and pull it in. bingo, about 5 average crayfish claws stuck into it.
