akton 15
Is that right ...ever heard of Rabbit control - Pests Act 1954.. I have over 30 yrs experience fella,In all my time providing a service, it was always a tip of the hat from the landowner and a thanks from him. I have never had anyone else go on any farm I had access to. Ha Ha Akton, with an attitude like that you would go far down here, every farmer/land owner you spoke like that to would tell you to fu.k right off their land. Read the full post moley you think that a farmer really want some non experts walking around his feild of crops. Im no expert by no means BUT.. Is that right... good job I'm not in your neck of the woods then eh come on Moley what Gift do you give Edited February 6, 2009 by akton Quote Link to post

jas88 0
Jas how long you been ferreting mate you must be a pest controller eh your profile tells me different iv been ferreting for a year. but my family have been farmers for a lot longer than youve been ferreting and im sure that even if getting rid of rabbits help the farmers they would still tell you where to go with a attitude like that. im not saying that i buy them a new car every time i go down, just pop in and say hello offer him a few rabbits (he never has them but i offer every time i go there) and help him old times like if he needs a hand rounding up the sheep that got away or he wants to borrow something , that sort of thing Quote Link to post

will.f11 24
SO ANYONE WHO IS TO TIGHT ARSE TO DO THIS REMEMBER YOU NEED THEM MORE THAN THEY NEED YOU ! Not really. Because if someone is doing a good job on land nad have gotton used to the layout boundries etc then its alot less hassle for landowner to keep you on. I know for one that any farmer down here wouldnt kick you off for someone else just because you didnt give em a drink at christmas Quote Link to post
