19 is no age mate,....my advice to you is have a good think about what you want to do now,...something that even if it takes you 5 / 6 years to train to do it...then do it....

dont look at the quick fix now,..look for a future...

im 24 mate, and im not in a good position career wise,....and its my fault...alot of older people will say the same to me as i have to you regarding your age,...as imo 24 is no age to,....but for me to train and have no money for 3 / 4 years doing something new will take me up to 29.....that is scary...

i made the wrong choices when i was 19 / 20 and that was because i said to myself if i re train now that will take me up to 24 with no money etc..............how i wish i could go back and change it

best of luck

Valentino

I abandoned my career in school for a woman, never again. Was gonna leave school and go into the forces, but forgot about that because I met someone, so ended up going to college, studying for something I couldn't really be bothered with, and then when college was over, I came out with A Levels which I had no intention of pursuing, as I had already outgrown computers. Did warehouse and Quality Control work from then on, but looking at retraining with a trade behind me.

All the best.

Im a 27 year old mother of 1 and work in the welsh assembly rural payments but i am on a course for pest control in march, nothing wrong with keeping your options open whatever your age but at the minute im loving my work, just using the pest control as a side business venture, weekend work really its more like a hobby that we get paid for! lol
