But you can also meet some of the best people in the world you would have never met with out the PC. I met Hardfeather when he was 'Blackred' on the old EDRD forum about 5 years ago now and kept in touch. Then when he moved and would no longer have any PC access we decided to go to stay for our hols, twice last year. Ive finally waded through the dozens and dozens of pictures, and would like to say a huge thank you to hardfeather for another holiday to remember. We only went for 6 days this time due to other commitments, and it only felt like 2days as it flew past Had a great day out at a massive poultry show, where Hardfeather got a third in his category, judged by Brian Nuttal, really good considering the amount of entrants. More birds present... Wined and dined at a 4star silver service hotel (the less said about that the better...lol ) Masses of walks straight out of the front door into fields bursting with bunnies who helped keep the dogs trim during their holiday. Digging bunnies in the Pheasant rearing pen.. The little beddy x whippet had me terrified she wouldnt get back out, at one point she was totally under.. A day out at the falconry fair. And the obligatory shopping at Charlies...the best shop in the world . Fantastic home cooked grub and of course takeaways followed by copious amounts of wine and larger :sick: . Invited out with the mink hunt, and a bobbery pack, but we didnt have enough time this visit...so next time. And much much more. The downside's...my dogs decided to totally embarrass me by stealing a huge turkey carcass, 1lb of butter, full loaf of bread, and a tub of margarine when i didnt shut the kitchen door properly :realmad: . 3 fights between Terra and Tally (too much alike) but considering there were 4 terriers and 4 lurchers all living in the same house they got on brilliantly. My lot met Hardfeathers new lurcher dog, and after a bit of posing and growling from Khan they got on brilliantly, even sleeping on top on each other! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

So dont always think people on these forums are weird ,(although most of you are ) keyboard warriors or suspicious, sometimes taking the chance to meet new friends can be the best move you will ever make. ratkilla 35 Posted May 6, 2006 Report Share Posted May 6, 2006 i have meet some of the soundest fella off this site, who have helped me out a great deal bending over backwards to help me out sorting me out with dogs decent breed dogs of that, driving to get them, inviting me out, teaching me about working dogs and f*****g alot more.
