Richie10 345
Hi, Like the look of and character of the Patterdale x JR terriers, looking for an all rounder, a dog to take ferreting and is good with ferrets, good for ratting, bushing and taking on foxes in the garden. Is this possible? Is the cross I want good for this? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks Rich Quote Link to post
OldNog 432
taking on foxes in the garden?! Quote Link to post
Richie10 345
taking on foxes in the garden?! Ha ha! Yep, have a few chickens I want ot look after! When people say Patterdales are too hard, would that mean they would shred the bunnies and the ferrets?? Quote Link to post

Richie10 345
I guess you are right. Just the size of the terriers seem more suited to my house. Terriers not so good for all that then? Quote Link to post

Guest miller1989
Too be honest mate i would listen to OldNog,he knows his stuff and you'll never get a man who posts once or twice a week on here and catches most people's attention with his excellent right-ups on how the hounds and terriers got on! Nothing to add as the experienced lads have spoke! Good luck! Quote Link to post
