jazz_11 5 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 im about to go ferreting in the snow on a piece of land i have never done before, wether i will be able to get to the holes i dont no but we will soon findout the place is over run with rabbits so wether i will get any is another thing.. my ferrets are still pretty unexperienced but im sure as soon as she goes in a warren with a few rabbits in she will be sorted.... cheers jazz Quote Link to post

jazz_11 5 Posted February 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 well was pretty crap to be honest to much cover, loads of holes and scratching and stuff but the thing is you can see the entrance holes as they go into the banking but then not the rest as its all behond cover... oh well my spaniel enjoyed himself in the snow... im going to try that place on the lamp and gun... theres loads of rabbits there but what a shame it cant be ferreted... Get in and clear some cover mate, you should try some of the land me and Col do, we are literally on our stomachs crawling through brambles, gorse bushes and nettles to get a net over a hole, what you have described sounds like heaven Quote Link to post
