nice fish mate, too many times ive been out on a boat and blanked. went out of iilfracombe harbour with 8 guys from work, told we'd be fishing for pollack, the guy didnt even have any jelly worms, used frozen mackrel all day and caught bloody dogys and that was it. might have to give that skipper a ring.

Hello mate,

Give Paul a ring on the Boat tel.07901 822375 he's a really nice bloke, will help you loads and will bust his nut's to put you on fish! :notworthy:

He's sponsored by fox and does a lot of filming for sky sports on the boat, look it up on the Brighton Diver website! you will see some awesome conger action when they were trying out the new fox range of carp gear against mid channel congers.

Being a skipper myself it's a good recommendation as skippers don't normaly plug others, but i know there are some in the business that will take your money and :feck: . :hmm::big_boss:

I go out with him a bit when i am not working myself to help him out on deck i love it as much as he does! Paul is also a technical diver himself so has amassed a huge knowledge of the wrecks off Brighton, he knows how they sit on the seabed, what they contain species wise and best methods of catching them. You just can't put money on that kind of knowledge!

I will put up some other pic's for you so you get a rough idea of the sort of fishing to be had with him, last year i won the boat fishing monthly comp :toast: with a brace of bass one @ 14 lb 10oz and one @ 11lb they were two of twenty six bass we had between us one day we went out on our own.

Oh! by the way he like's to have a :drink: with his crews afterwards so you better get a B&B somewhere, just thought i better mention it.lol ;)

Good luck fella and if your down this way pm me and we will go and get some sport!

Chris.

Top class Mate, the best fishing can be done around a wreck, Wos it a war wreck you fished ?

Yes mate it was! for me i find it quite interesting to find out what i am fishing over and how it got there, off the coast of Brighton there are about 250 wrecks most from the war and most have been Torpedoed so something good come of something so bad.

If you go on sussex diving website there's a whole list of wrecks and how they got there quite interesting really.

I know exactly what you mean, The wrecks around liverpool bay also have a story to tell makes it all more interesting

and you get a sense of connection with what ur going and area your fishing, The area you fish got more pre-war history
