Guest dances
its not her dew claw is it? Quote Link to post
Fieldsporthunter 1,864
the same happend to my oldest bitch and i just left it to grow back, i wish i did not because a infection got inside the nail and she ended up on antibiotics. in my opinion the best thing to do is to clean the foot in a solution of hydrogen poroxide (a skin disinfectant) or epson salts desolved in water (four table spoons to 500ml) just in case to prevent any complications. moonlighter 1,164
this happened to my bitch a while back. The nail grew back but at a funny angle. Dosen't cause her any probs though. Quote Link to post
blackstaff 488
Is it the whole nail or just the outside of it ? If it's the outside just make sure it's cleaned out and it'll grow back. Friend of mine's Staffy just had the same thing and this is what he was told by the vet. Quote Link to post
