skycat 6,173
Great photos! Lucky you to be able to go out and hunt and hunt with hardly anyone throwing an anti wobbly fit.
Tiff 36
of course I wanted to take him to see the Amish, I could go every day but alas, works prevents it. He was as fascinated as I, he even bought an Amish hat and wore it home on the airplane what did your family think when they saw it? RK with Kye and an Amish farmdog outside of my favorite shop, "Leftys" One of the famous "share the road" signs ... most typical "Urban" communities have these but they show bicycles, not horse & carts! Amish woodyard schools out! a church nearby that a famous "ghost" picture was taken Amish directional sign, I ALWAYS get lost driving around trying to find the shops, bakery, leather shop etc Horse & Cart waiting for owner Edited February 5, 2009 by His Wife

Kye 77
As a disclaimer guys, the pic of Tor (stumpy tailed staghound bitc) and the coon and cat, i think Tor only caught a couple of them, some where caught buy other dogs (a saluki cross) but Tor was the only dog in the yard at the time, so RK just snapped a shot!..lol. Oh, and as for the pick of all the coon in Iowa...36!!!!...the fecking cheek of it all!...there is 56 coon there, not a great haul, but its end of season up there, and we also found a few dead of Distemper etc... The Amish do like to hunt, i have been digging with one quite well known Amish guy in Ohio, and his terriers where very nice,... We are currently in the Mid-West, but when we have guests over, we like to travel so they can see the different terrain/quarry/weather etc... Thanks for the interest guys... Jay...
