Recommended Posts

hiya guys

had my webley & scott 810 3" semi-auto for couple o years now...and its great

cheap yes but does what it says on the tin

id now like to attatch a sling to it....

the screw end on the fore stock has a small hole which i guess i can but a fitting for to attatch a sling at the fore end

but

nowt on the stock underside...no hole anything....

i did ask webley when i bought gun but they didnt have fittings for it at that time

any of you guys know of where i can buy sling fittings to attatch to a synthetic stock etc

cheers

hi there i just fitted these

to my dads wanlnut stocked 810. the machine screw one needs to be cut down a bit but they work good. if attaching the rear stud to a synthetic stock you would probably have to drill then tap the hole and then use arildite or somethin to keep it nice and tight. hope this helps :victory:

cheers bud

that would work for the stock

but ,,,,

need something different for fore end....similar end with hole but without the huge thread....there is a hole already in the knurled "nut so would need some thing with a "backing plate" on underside of the knurled "nut"or cap of the fore end

cheers

It would be an idea to check out your local gun smith.

I have seen shotgun slings specialy made and look rather tempting and by all accounts no fixings are required.

This may be of help..
