i could have shot myself last night just before dark lol

yep forgot to cycle bolt lol

then went into fields walking along after about half a mile 2 rabbits hoped out this time i just dont no what happened i was stuned by the time i lifted me rifle they were of bugger ... so on i walked got to corner rabbit hopped out aimed fired little high got him just above eye but he legged it .. its funny got to where i shot him there was loads of movement in the bush twigs snapping when he burst out of hedge hit the fence i was stood next to then ran a bit bouncing of fence till he found a gap he was 20 yards if that i aimed sent a defiant pellet into his head just at back of eye down he went ... i went over took a look it looked like my first shot had bounced of his skull an left a gash must have gone mad with a head ache ..

missed a woody (pigon and not woodcock!) today it was up on the pilons outside my house. am kickin mysef as the squirrel hasent turned up after his 'experience'. he was underneath the ivy on an iivy covered tree, all i could see was his movements i mus have let off about 6 shots into the air just to find out where he was, then he took a mad dash across my garden and into the woods outside of my garden, he wont be back for a long time.

what about this for a morning went out early (for me thats 7.45) i saw 2 muntjack why dont i own a centrerfire ok well that was good a second later out came mr fox gave the munt a jump. they moved on after seeing me so i looked to see if there were rabbits yes i took my pick and tryed stalking closer but no off they went!! then in a tree 100 yrds away in the neighbours land i saw a maggie. i got the phone out put ont he magpie call and had a nice conversation with the maggie the b*****d was supposed to hear it and fly closer but it just sat there chattering away to my phone bummer i sat out at 6 tonight and waited for the rabbits once one came out i couldent tell if it was becsue the light had faded so caustiously i stood up and sure enough it was a rabbit and the bugger ran well this was a shite day up at 6 tommorow. i will not fail and i feel like some mango and rabbit.

hi every one

went out for a couple of hours today set of about 3:30pm and went to some new permission a bout 5 minutes from me house. had a recky the night before and seen that there was a considerable amount of Bunnie activity, so got me self set up by some hay bails and and had a quick zero to find distances on the mil dot and waited.wasn't long before the first target presented its self now this shot was the furthest away so i knew it would be 3/4 mil dot under. steadied my self mil dot on target no wind perfect conditions and THWACK up it goes and down it came dead.

after picking it up i paced it back and yes 79paces so @ 0.900mm to a pace = 71.1YDS.YEH I KNOW COULD NOT BELIVE IT MY SELF.

you can see the hay stack i was sniping @ the bottom of it

any way back to me sniping spot didn't take long before another was out not far from the last one. same procedure as before nice and steady THWACK over and out picked this one up and paced back 72yds X 0.900mm a pace = 64.8YDS another good shot.

before you all start shouting and saying that's to far a shot to have respect for your quarry,IM COMFORTBLE TAKING SHOTS LIKE THESE!!in the right conditions

well these were perfect conditions other wise i would have not taken the shot.it was long before another two came out about 15yds & 20yds i missed both of these shots don't ask me why don't know probably still filled with adrenalin from the last two shots.just before i decide to pack up a rook and a crow had decided to land in the big tree to my left as you can see in the pic and THWACKED these two and were paced back @ 42yds x 0.9mm a pace = 37.8yds .
