Countryboyo 0 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Share Posted October 31, 2009 popped out to have a zero,@ the business park Today 2 Total 7 happy hunting davy Well lads I was lucky to get out today for a quick 20 minutes for a break from my wildlife biology projects. I went to a field behind my house and hid in a bush near a group of trees where pigeons were feeding lately. I had no decoys as my staffy tore them to sunder a couple of weeks back but I was just happy to be getting out in the fresh air. After sitting in the bush for 15 minutes I was thinking today would be a blank, I wasnt happy as my arse was wet and I wasnt looking forward to heading back inside to do study. I said I would give it 5 more minutes ... Thankfully a couple of pigeons turned up to feed on the berries. As there was a lot of branches in the way, a slight wind and the feckers wouldnt stop moving about as they do, I had to bide my time . Eventually one of the pigeons made its way to the front of the tree and I said to myself "drop this mo4 countryboyo" and sure as hell my first pigeon hit the ground. not a great haul by any means but im out of the traps none the less....
