lurchergrrl 1,441
Of course, I'd never heard of the Waterloo cup till I moved to England. So I had a bit of a gander on You Tube, and came across this video of Galgos coursing. Pretty cool! Not something I've ever witnessed, sadly ...

claybusers al 9
i now consider myself as lucky but back then sort of took it for granted and usually just went after work or all day if i could would never of imagined it would come to an end. the best bits where always different 1 year it was the police and the anti's i was harvesting leeks in the field on the drive up and it had snowed over night when the antis put down nail stars to pop the tyres but because of the snow the police went on horseback first well the police luckily sent a land rover down it missed us by inches when it lost control with burst tyres and came in the field as you can guess they werent happy and they didnt take any shit off the antis as it could of been the horses i saw a lot of battons drawn that morning and no 1 came to help what a shame i even didnt mind pulling the landrover out of the field with the tractor poetic justice

Fantastic times on the grounds and at The Scari. Lost my driving licence there and I met some great people. Some of the best times of my life (except the driving ban)! Cheers, D.
