rifle mounted lamp/torch?

I was wondering what are good options for a rifle mounted lamp/torch for lamping rabbits with my spring charged air rifle? and are there any problems with this type of setup

there is some good kit out there depending on what it's going on and the range you are after the biggest thing is the weight of some of the batteries and being attached to the rifle i use the deben tactical with stock mounted battery for that very reason i hate the ones that are belt mounted but hey do last longer and give more power

hey,

my pals use the but ive gon to deben tracer max.

maglite with minimum 3d cell,to save weight convert the battery connectors to accept the 4aa typ x3.

power fuller bulb, and 2x bisley mounts,dont keep on for long periods.

 

with maglites you can widen the beam by turning the bulb housing.

you need led bulb and best ive seen work out to yard, no good with filters though i must admit but a easy cheap option.

dont bother with the logun lamp as the maglites out perform them.

i tried a logan lamp(6v) against a TKtacticle from fenix... i put the logan away after two shines... on filters forget the logon for definate

i use the mini pro with red filter 7amp bat in pocket no probs lasts all nite

For airgunning i use the logun it's small and light and will cover all the ranges i shoot at.

i use the deben mini tracer with dimmer switch cant fault it.

if your getting a big un get 12v with filters and a dimmer switch... 6v logons with filters on, well... theres better about for the 40 plus yards. i will say the logon was really good for ratting red filtered.

hi i have a deben tracer gun mounted lamp with belt pouch nice n lite n with plenty of power much better then the logun
