auld salmon 28 Posted February 3, 2009 Report Share Posted February 3, 2009 (edited) well no work the day so of i went got there seen a bunny go into a 1 holer so in went ferret bang bang but she couldny bolt it found her 1ft down but was concrete then she moved found her dug down got her but couldny find the bunny but it wasnt dead so left it went walkabout along hedges for about 1 mile but no sets my auld pal baza joined me then back to the loaning nice we 3 holer 1 minute later bang 1 bunny then another rapid so moved on a few sets with nowt then a 6 holer baza was on other side out came the bunny then fell back in the hole then 1 bolted on my side but was 1 of them funny holes hard to net or my bad netting but it escaped then the other on bolted & baz got it this time so away we went next 15 holer 3 ferrets down then bang bunny bolted but net never pursed right brambles next set we did a fortnite ago got 3 out of it so 4 ferrets down then 2 bunnys bolted next set we also did fortnte ago 2 ferrets down nowt for a while so found them at 4ft 2 little heads looking at me when broke through got them out then not 1 but 2 bunnys looking worse for wear so quickly dispatched then last set 3 holer 1 ferret down nowt but banging then found it with mk 1 a big dig 8 inches right onto big buck then headed homeward 8 bunnys for the bag one of the rabbits had a bare patch on its side about 2 x 3 inches long so another good day out wind had a cold chill in it mite get snow again great to be out Edited February 3, 2009 by auld salmon Quote Link to post
