Guest john5
well we had a GREAT TIME , friday it was snowing and hurting my eyes but we found lots of shooting around a farm where the pigeons were attacking brussel sprouts and cabbages because that was the only food above the snow , at lunch time we had run out of cartridges so we had to make a quick dash back to the caravan for another 250 rounds , i shot like a complete and utter twat and i can boast that i can miss as good as anyone , friday night and a friend from london came to join in but that night we had a couple of glasses of scotlands finest and the early start was delayed untill 10.45 ,(no i did not oversleep because i was pissed) saturday we went out and this time sport was poor only 6 birds all day but we consoled ourselves by finnishing another bottle of tonic which helped us sleep and had another early start 11.30 (bigger bottle this time) we went down to the marsh and it was lifting with teal and wished that we had'nt had quite so much too drink, my mate who shoots like he is a member of the league against cruel sports and wears jam jars for glasses even shot his first two teal and a greylag , we taken the birds back to the caravan and again i was forced to celebrate another good outing by lifting a glass with my two companions , i realy needed to go home now and detox away from these bad influences who frequent the marsh ,monday morning seen another light dusting of snow and the roads had not been gritted so i drove home at a very steady pace , anyone who fancies an outing get intouch .
