Is this post for real???

Firstly I think you mean Bullmastiff and if you've had him from a puppy you'd be better off getting in touch with the breeder to see if they will take him back. Secondly as he is outside on a chain (in this weather???) don't let him go to any families with kids if he has a problem with them.

Really? You think by giving him some sound advice I'm giving him grief? You think just because you're having a baby it's a good enough reason to dispose of a dog? I 'suggested' getting in touch with the breeder, the easiest/quickest option. The guy is giving the dog away = doesn't care where it goes imho. Dog on chain outside and getting rid of because new baby is arriving = dog with problems imho. So not giving the guy grief just sound advice and a spelling lesson ;)

You lads keep you're dogs outside- how many on a chain ?? NONE. I hate these type of rehomes, especially with this type of dog. At 9 mths he's still a baby & young enough to be re-trained if not already ruined. Doubt if breeder will take him back if he's been kept outside.

It's possible he's been put outside since baby arrived, either way it's wrong & the dog needs taking out of the situation.

Will pm him- & then see if any of the rescues I know will take him in for assessment
