Well done Snoopdog, Razor's coming along nicely and is a credit to you. It shouldn't come as a surprise though. I saw three of his four grandparents run in the flesh and they were of the highest quality. The one I didn't see running was Charlie, but he has taken his place at the front end of the list of great producing sires of the modern era. So if Razor only inherited the average talent of his lineage he was going to produce the goods in the right hands.

If anyone seriously thinks that other crosses could compete successfully with saluki crosses on big land with long slips in winter, why where none of these able to make it to the Forley finals never mind win a Forley cup, or Calender cup etc. while the chance was there to put the money on the line before the ban? These competitions weren't closed to other crosses.

iam not running nobody anywhere i go out with a certain few which some have better dogs running then mine at the moment and some dont .....we enjoy the day have a good laugh ........i go out and enjoy my days out.....ive nothing to prove ....TO ANYONE......my young dog is running pretty good for his age and size and iam hoping he will be a bit speical next season... iam not claiming him to be a superstar....or anything else ..........i put a post on here ...because he flushed well that day ...it isnt the first time hes had these numbers.....but on this particular day i was proud of the dog.....i dont give a dam about what crosses are used where,..yes i do want a good dog ....i want the very best out of my dog.....mark no offense but your not the sort of person i want to spend a day hunting with,.....take this how you like ...but in this game not all of us will get on.....and i got a feeling me and you wont.....all the best snoop...

 

 

Well said,i know fuk all bout snoop or his dogs,but he seems to be having a fookin good time and from what ive read on here is prepared to put the time and effort into his hunting and young dog. Mebbes if more of us done this there would be less time for all the bickering and bitching :whistling:

feching diolons , a coli cross is just rabbit dog , if that was the case i wouldnt have one , caught loads of hares in eastlothain deer rabbits foxes in the viewof freinds and witnesses at times and got colli cross saluks who can rock on the day time hares got a pup and a few mates have they are all catching day timee hares like father and mother ,has any use saw arite good colli cross were i live its hares and deer , and never been without one god colli cross , saluks are great to for the job but saw some god colli crosses dropping a shoulder on aghare going up and down the gears ,but not sawmany beter chance with a well bred saluk for hares but you get the od collli type who can catch hare swere ever and any biody was welcome to see her in her prime or her pups catch hares no big deal ,

longest hare chase ive had with collicrosss singled was 2 50 secs at the end of a big day hunting woods to push out beasties in feb so no slo hares lucky i had freinds from the usa over to see collie types , no if you have the [bANNED TEXT] type o f colli cross there good, not fen dogs week in week out but i dont live on the fens , in her prime in front of dozens ive saw coli type kill hares big slips, hunting them up were ever through woods ,i think alot of youse has never seen a class colli type who will die for the chase , had a guy of here clippers mate , was bolting rabbs in wood she took several, then saw her head cocked, a hare maybe 1oo yrds away she went after it three or four mins later came back with hare then same nite lamped rabbs caut them fetched them caut a good hare then a roe , now ive had dozens of days like that so no slouch or luck had aguy from edinburgh out several times j mcallum , he saw her do the lot were ever saw me driving by slipped her out car in winter rape feilds shees hunted hare up , caut it retreived it , many times done but i did shorten her life 4 yrs and she was starting to get sore hares roe constantly , was down suffolk quite afew christmasses and caut good hares , probaly never own another same way bred but if your lucky there there well MAYBE , have saluks to tho so no whats what and whats the best

shees nine with pinned leg and still catching rabbs on short grass ,but shees done i realy think alot of use have not saw good colli types got coli saluks and had nothin but good reports pictures of game with them hares in the daylite the saluk father was k simpsons chocko a very good saluk cross , cambridge cup winner both brothers one it twice so good dogs in there prime , and the pups are good got wind speed etc box hares took to there second season tho , ye snoop razors a nice dog mate and im lucky to have seen very good dogs , and had a few in my time , the thing about the match with brick and miles, miles never went down and returnd the favour to hunt how mark hunts , u get the odd good one but wouldnt go for a colli type for hares unless was sure of breeding and type,, all the best, i dont think mark has nothing to prove , with his wee dogs , cheers
