SADLY I only have a pup, 8weeks old, my eyes are very good, those photos, the ground is hard, frost, and a slight covering of snow, advantage to Mr Hare, and he can turn on a Tanner, and at this time of year mr. Hare is at his peak, I could not tell you how many of those fellows, my dogs had but when you have a novice dog, such as a 17 month old type, running single handed, as good as the champion maybe, it is inevitable, that there is going to be marks on the hare, IE, RIPPED SKIN, SALIVA MARKS AROUND THE RIBS, OR AS I said the dog is sponge mouth, and 9 out 10 hard courses when the dog makes contact with his quarry at top speed, he will tumble with the hare in his mouth teeth going in or striking and sliding along on his shoulder and back but with the hare held firmly in his mouth, yes the computure is a great invention, digital cameras are first class, but I am talking of Hard experience, on this site there is a percentage of very genuine dog men and also very knowledgeable, but there is a huge % who has never really seen good dogs work, and Hare coursing was my game, Not BULLSHIT, AND I NEVER HAD TO LINE UP THE TROPHYS FOR THE CAMERA, Quote Link to post
snoopdog 1,256
ive always run hares local until last season......when i took my lurcher down there he did ok but mot a fen dog ..since i have been coursing i met some top blokes... but met more pricks in one year then i have met in all me life .....theres people like you border lad who have been coursing since the 50s and 60.s .AND STILL NEVER HAD A GOOD DOG ...all the gear no i dear ........then you have your jealous types who slag every fookers dog off......crabbbing b*****ds,,,,,,,,,because they have champions in september and they have eithier run the dog into the ground or injured it or f****d it in some way before the hares even start running to there full potential......if you want to come out with me your welcome....pm your details ......the ground was not hard.....no frost........yes it did start snowining lightly as we where going back to the car........and hey old man.....look at my wellies in the pic.... and the dogs feet .... hard frost ...no marks or salvia.... ,please no more of this bullshit over the net....thats why i stopped posting on here,...if you are a genuine coursing bloke then like i say pm me and we will chat private.....to be honest i dont take kindly to being called a lier ......but iam sure we could straighten it out over the phone..... and oh by the way.....you are right the hares are at there best....... lurchergrrl 1,441
I don't pretend to know much about all this coursing dog lark .... but I do know this: Snoop doesn't need to make up stories about what any of his dogs are capable of. He's put in a shocking amount of time and effort with this dog and now, it's paying off. I know this as fact because I'm the long suffering woman who's taken a back seat for the whole season whilst he does everything he can to ensure that Razor is the best he can be. (I expect retribution in the summer months tho ). Border Lad the thing you and Snoop have in common is that fact that second best is no good to either of you Quote Link to post
