Guest oldskool
there was a few runs where it showed the dogs pull up but you cant really judge the dogs when its not known what runs the dogs had previous to that... to me it was a no messin about, honest video!!! Quote Link to post
scent 509
Well said Giro, I can only think of a couple, fair play to the lads for filming their dogs and putting it out there, takes time and dedication to produce a dvd, perhaps mistbar and the other slaggers should produce their own dvds of their singlehanded fox dogs Sarah if I had bull crosses that done the job like that doubled up they would not be coming back from the nights lamping , PLENTY 30LB FOXES I SMELL SHITE i think there was one or two of them dogs very good ,that black bitck looked a right handy tool jimb Quote Link to post
player1 2
good dvd , ............ avv it , ! its a shame they couldnt have showed the dogs on the others ? ? ? as there were a few on there , would i watch it again Quote Link to post

player1 2
im not getting into an argument , but heres a good sized fox i shot before i got into dogs , i dont actually know the weight , but i have been out on the lamp and seen them a lot bigger , went out one night and as we got back to the van , i tried one more feild and 5 pairs of foxes eyes shone back at me there was a good sized [what i presumed dog fox] on its own about 60 yards away but in the middle of the feild was the biggest fox ive ever seen with 3 vixens near it , this fox must have been over 30 lb , i switched the lamp off and hissed at my mate to come over , when i put the lamp back on my mate said it looked like a small GSD , but as it was with 3 vixens i knew it was a fox , sadly we didnt get a run on it , Quote Link to post

NO1 13
oryt lads the dogs do good on some of the foxes they run but could they do it single handed which proves a dog in my eyes Quote Link to post
NO1 13
Alot of lads I know run two lurchers in the lamp on foxes but during the day out of holes and cover they always work single handed except for a novice pup. Is that the likely case for the dogs that featured in this dvd?? I personally prefer single handed. i like to see my dog work his quarry alone that way a dog is known to go it alone and not need help to catch yous lads know what a mean when you can see a dog waiting for the second dog to pick up first Quote Link to post
NO1 13
the wrekin crew dvd is why more and more people are get chin bye police etc if you ask me atb KEANO feck them mate they should just leave us to it Quote Link to post
pipi 15
I recently started a thread on Punch lines on here and was very glad I did, a lot of very interesting feedback from genuine boys who knew the breeding , there has also been a thred on Reece's Billy, again with good feedback, but I saw this DVD a while ago called the Wrekin Crew, a gang of boys from(I think the Barnsley area, but not sure), lamping foxes from the back of an old GPO van. The sport was shit hot, I found myself sitting at the edge of my seat as the coursing was on go. Some of these dogs were really outstanding, one pair were a black and white duo, just out of interest, would anyone know the breeding of these dogs, what lines etc, also a red and white dog called Danny. ATB WAB By all means PM me if anything a bit to juicy for normal reading. Cheers. And if you haven't seen it, watch it, you'll be glad you did, I was. I owned danny from a pup up untill he was 2 and half years old he was a bull grey saluki cross bull grey pm me if u want more info. Quote Link to post
kent scotty 0
so are people saying it was normal before the ban for people to do fox doubled up? i have only seen this once when a dog broke out by accident and it wasnt nice!! a dog cant kill if something else is holding the fox not letting it shake !! surley if the dog cant do it on its own(pups learning excepted) its not a fox dog and should stick to somthing it can handle? or am i way out here and its accepted? scotty Quote Link to post
