Heart of Wales nice dog there mate..

Chartpolski like the 3/4 bred,is that how the whole litter through, because that looks fairly racy to me mate cracker anyhow mate,is he/she yours?

Black Stabbath really like the top GSD pictured, cracking dog mate.

Would it matter if say you bred a litter of this cross and the dam was the GSD,would that affect the pups speed rather than doing it Greyhound dam bred?

cheers....

No mate, that bitch was bred and owned by Typp, out of his half x GSD and a greyhound bitch. She was only about 8 month old there, and as far as I know, all the litter were about the same stamp... looked a bit like 1/4 collie 3/4 grey to me.

Cheers.

Hi Chartpolski, Bridy, is a genuine 3/4 bred, she is out of Solo, to a straight greyhound bitch, and i,d say she stands around the 23/ 24 inch mark. regards collie john.

I have a 3/4 GH 1/4 GSD, he is not a worker and its nice to see all of these working crosses, they all look great, and I like hearing all of the temperments, mine has a rubbish temperment, to nervous and relies on my other dog too much before he has the courage to do anything, he thinks that he is a hunter though bless him, from the minute we let him off he is using his nose, flushing things out and going for the chase, although the other day bless him he done this to a red kite who was sat in the field, had the shock of his life though when the kite flew at him lol, never seen him move so fast  but I would love one with a better temperment, and all the ones on here look great, I would also like one with a better coat to.

Was yours a rescue dog, unfortunately have seen quite a few German Shepherds with temprement problems, when I went to buy a puppy several kennels were less than satisfactory in my book,A good breeder will spend a hell of a lot of time with a litter right from a very early age, assosiating the pups with different noises smells and changes in thier enviroment, when I go and see a litter of GSD they must all come up to the fence line and to me to play,a Greyhound can be a very nervey dog to if not assosiated properly, put the Two together and your asking for trouble.

No hes just always been like it, but his mother rejected him and his siblings, a litter of 11, so all the pus went to the dams owners friend to be adopted by a whippet, who didn't want nothing to do with them, so they were bottle fed and left in a coal shed in the garden when they didn't need feeding and when they did they just got fed and left again, when they got older they were allowed out the coal shed to have free range of the garden, but the whippet was still allowed in the garden and regulary attacked the pups, Diesel my dog was the last one there, and after traveling 25 miles to see the litter we got told that if we didn't take him he would be dumped out in the sticks and left to let nature take care of him :( he was 11 weeks old, nobody wanted him, and the man was fed up with having puppies in his garden.

He was so nervous of other dogs when we got him, nervous of people and to pick him up to take him to car was so awlful, he hadn't been handled nicely you could tell that, he was shaking like a leaf and biting and growling doing everything he could to get away from us, at 2 and a half he still isn't a normal dog, strangers are a no go, unless they are children and young, he is extermely over protective, although this has got better, you had no chance of getting near me if he didn't want you to before, and recently he has been diagnosed with a hormonal unbalance, and this has surfaced as he deleloped a dog version of OCD, he has taken so much effort to bring up, and bring him up to kind of act as normal as he could he has all these problems and people ask why we had him neutered? Well I just feel better to know that he can't have any pups and pass on a bad temperment, he also has bad feet, and has a toe missing to.

Some people dont deserve to keep cockroaches let alone dogs :censored: ,you have done well to rear him by the sounds, well done :clapper:

I don't think that them people should be able to have dogs either, poor dogs, he and his siblings must of suffered badly and been terrified while they were there, and thanks, he is the most challenging dog that I have ever had, he has needed so much work, I love him but wouldn't want another one like him, all the other dogs have been so easy compared to him, even training a year old bully who had no rules was easier then having him.

Theres a couple of pics of him attached, both of them taken today, between either 7:30 or 9:00 this morning on our walk :)
