tony d 0
morning guys, was out yesterday put one of my hobs down a hole it was down for a short while, when it re-appeared it started doing the side ways dance and making a purring noise, i could net get near him for about five minutes. he has done this a couple of times now. i know they usually do the ferret dance when excited etc but was just wondering if this is normal when out ferreting? cheers tony Quote Link to post
para1 11
Put him down a hole with rabbits in it and you will see a better reaction. No bunnies so next best thing play with you Quote Link to post

night moocher 41
better them do the happy dance than come out all fizzed up and stinking of musk like my hob did . early on in the season my old experianced hob came like a tazmanian devil spitting cackling tail like a bog brush and stinking of musk, could've been a mink or a wild polecat in there , the dogs marked strong but on this occasion it wern't no rabbit.
