lurchergrrl 1,441
Blimey Donk you've not got the best of luck have you I hope you get your jackets back - would hate to hear of you freezing to death in that little ice box of yours Knowing someone had been in my house like that would freak me right out (By the way, I like the amendment to your signature )
bigfoot 0
When i was on here last night posting and stuff,i heard a noise in the passage like rustling paper. I live in an upstairs flat and my front room where the pc is,leads straight onto the landing. When i heard the noise i went to have a look, sending the dogs in front.Looked down the stairs and couldnt see nothing. It was windy last night so i just put it down to the wind making weird noises. Got up this morning and i was getting ready to go see a mate of mine for a mooch about, went to the bannister on the landing to get my jacket and it was gone. And it suddenly clicked,i was robbed of 3 jackets while i was on the pc,which is about 15ft away from my landing Luckily there was nothing of value in them just a diary a few rechargeable batteries for my camera and a pair of pocket binoculars. Just makes you think though, someone in your house, less than 15ft away from you robbing you. Dont leave your doors unlocked, even when you are in the house, its not safe. i'll bet it was them bloody gypsies

donk 12
It wasnt the travellers, they have someone in custody for a related matter (whatever that means) and they have been out 'in force' (im gonna be the talk of the street again lol). Filled 4 bin size evidence bags with the stuff ive found Apparently there was a spate of similar robberies the same night/morning. And theyre talking of doing 'fibre lifts' to get more evidence. Lol @ bigfoot ,i might be interested as long as theyre not too worn Lurcherguurl, as long as they dont knick my cocoon i'll be ok Mass_G3nocide, it used to be like that round here, ive never locked my door, guess its a sign of the times. Ive been told i will get my jackets back and the contents of the pockets etc. I'll update if i get anymore feedback of the bobbies.
lurchergrrl 1,441
Donk, don't hold your breath for your jackets being returned. The cops confiscated one of my prize kitchen knives after my ex was arrested for threatening to kill me with it - they said it would be returned. He's been convicted, it was a year ago, still no sign of my knife being returned. I want it back 'cause it belonged to my Nana
donk 12
Well the bobby that was here did say that if they get enough evidence to take it to court it might be sometime before i get it back, but to be honest im not that fussed. I'd like to get it back but none of the jackets were expensive jobbies, though some of the others that i found were expensive looking

donk 12
jackets no longer available Lmao Donk, it was in the local news a few weeks ago about the huge increase in opportunist burgulars, walking into peoples unlocked doors through the day Aaah ,i never heard anything like that as i dont have a telly. Its been a lesson though and not an expensive one,i count my self lucky that i only lost 3 jackets,it wont happen again though. Not that ive anything thats worth nicking to be honest, i dont keep money in the house,my wallets always in my back pocket, and even if they got my car keys they would be canny p*ssed off with my 14 year old motor
