fitting a silencer onto the smk 19 with open sights

i made this topic because at the end of last year i got a silencer for my air rifle ( smk 19 ).it took about a week before we found out how to get the open sight off since it was glued. anyway i will now explain how to get the open sights off.

 

 

you will need:

 

molegrips

 

a towl (optional)

 

the gun

 

 

method:

 

sit on a chair or something and place the gun facing barrel up inbetween your legs. you might want want to wrap the towl around the gun where it is touching your legs. next get the mole grips and put them around your open sight. then a couple of sharp twists anticlockwise and you should be able to unscrew it the rest of the way. if not then keep twisting and trying to unscrew it.

 

i hope this will help someone as i got annoyed because i couldnt find a way of getting it off the barrell. bye
