warbiscuit 0 Posted January 29, 2009 Report Share Posted January 29, 2009 well i wana get my scope zeroed in at 25 metres. i am using a smk 19 and the scope is a 6x40.any advise? bit of plywood, put a slug into it (central ish) walk out to your preferred distance and set crosshair central on slug hole. fire 1 shot, watch for fall of shot, adjust and repeat until zeroed. take adequate care to follow shot through without undue disturbance otherwise you'll be there forever. Learn the marksmanship principles. everyone has different methods, find one that suits you best. Quote Link to post

Guest air gunner Posted January 29, 2009 Report Share Posted January 29, 2009 yep i would say set up targets with 1in squares on them every 10ft lean on a wall or lie down aim at the target when steady squeeze the trigger once pulled watch the target afterward so as not to disturb shot placement shoot say 10 shots find the group set the scope up using the clicky thing each 16 clicks = 1in normaly so this at each range but make sure you have groups. the thing i found was i couldent zero the gun for shit when i first started shooting but 5 months on i can do it like that. practice mate Quote Link to post
