never heard of it have a look on guntrader to see if there are any others and if you sell it the little button is called a selector so it would be worded single selector ejector. why are you not getting on with it if you just leave it on bottom barrel thats the way a non selector works

Hi ukhunter, if your gun will not fire both barrels, by simply pulling the trigger twice, it is faulty. The selector just selects which order you fire in, top then bottom or bottom first then top. A fault with a selector is not uncommon, and if left, it may develop into firing off both barrels together.

You need to completely release the trigger after the first shot, then pull again. If this doesn't happen, it needs attention mate.

i will take it to the gun shop tomorrow and let them have a look at it

It may just need some lubrication in the right place.

If something has broken, like a pivot pin or spring, it can all be repaired. I have just had a new selector/safety catch assembly fitted to my Lanber.

Total cost was £45 I think. It seems to go wrong about every 5 years, whereas the Beretta is never any trouble. Just different design and quality I guess. You can't really sell it with a fault, but when it's fixed, you may decide you like it again!!

picked the gun up from the gunshop today and they said there was a fault with a selector and they have fixed it

it cost me £34 to get it fixed which is ok. but i will see tomorrow if they have fixed it or not as needs the inertia of the recoil to function properly

you can try this yourself at home

break the barrel and close as if ready to fire ( obviously have barrels empty!!!!! )

fire once obvious "click " of firing pin then just quite frimyl tap end of the stock that goes into your shoulder and this "recoil" should allow you to "fire " again hnece hear second click

not good idea to do this very often

but your going to try it it earnest in the field shortly

let us know how you get on

agree with whats said whoevr sold you gun like that needs a slap..was taking the piss
