Well suffice to say after the dog going on saturday i wasnt the best of moods to set snares.

 

But i did so yesterday & picked them up this morning.

I caught five rabbits and a polecat who was very pissed off, there is never a big stick around when you need one, but i found one eventually

 

There was a young rabbit, which i let go un-injured

The hoop snare (2nd, 3rd & 4th picture) is set on a tram line, first time i have set snares like that.

 

I only had one or two knocked wires so im getting there :good:

 

And the polecat, as you could imagine was squealing like a banshee. and it fecking stunk :sick:

Awsome stuff their. Really enjoy looking at those pics mate. Whats a tram line? some kind of car track?. I love the look off that polcat aswell, and i know the noise they make my ferret did it too me once and crikey it is unbearable. Did you let the little blighter go?

 

Your snaring is coming along mate, I cant wait till i get some done. But the weather down here is really gripping my shit. We havent had a night in neally a month.

PTB wears wellies like that and a cant concentrate on snaring while he is next to me,there crackers :kiss:

and the trackys bottoms are because it was boiling yesterday and i couldnt be bothered ratching out jeans/combats this morning im a right grumpy twat in a morning :angry:

 

 

 

Mitch, wild polecats make a different noise to any ferret i have heard, its a very high pitched, ear peircing squeal.

 

Unfortuneatly it had to die :whistle:

 

Reason being is i didnt have a pair of welders gloves and chainmail up my arms to release him alive :tongue2:

 

im sure Mr. Gun could do it though, brave c*nt
