whippeter69 88
Went lamping last night on new permission and the fog was so thick by the end we had to stop lamping. We took my and a my mates pup and his too older lurcher and we only managed to get 1. anyway we slipped all dogs on it because we knew we wernt going to get much runs as of the fog and my whippet has stopped yelping and she picked it up a few times but she needs to learn to hold the rabbits. anyway here a pic all the dogs had a go at this one and managed to pick it up about 3 time and seemed to just play with it lol. anyway hers a pic. And we managed to get lost in the fog and we were walking past a spookie house and all of a sundn both of our lightforce lamps had cut out, a bit weird i know lol . Quote Link to post

Just a bit of advice mate, of course you can ignore it if you wish but I think you are courting disaster running three dogs, especially pups, it can learn young dogs numerous sins, first injury, tug of wars spoil retreiving, fights over spoils and any bad habits the other dogs may have are difficult to put right if your pup picks the habits up. Run your dog solo even as an adult. They all have to learn and take your time don't spoil the potential of a good lurcher. Quote Link to post

But i only took her last night to watch and the other dogs would do the running and just incase we see a red one we take the older lurcher. But the last rabbit i had seen i only ran her on it beacuse i knew with the fog coming in there was no point in not letting her having a little run, but i know what your saying mate, will not be running her too much with other dogs Edited January 27, 2009 by whippeter69 Quote Link to post
