whin 463
go and see dogs that work and see the parents ,and see if they are what you want in a dog , get a day out with genuine lads and see if theyre what you want ,dont just dive into buying a dog of non tested parents , i was at hancocks years ago , and while one of the dogs i got was fine the other ones ive saw didint make the grade full stop gave them away to less taxing homes , all depends what you want in a good lurcher , a dogs for along time so get the best you can afford and tred carefully when you pick your pup , i saw hanckock with a deaf pup he kept it and used it for breeding says it never affected his dogs ,go out with genuine guys and see there dogs and there type and if your lucky youll get apup pm me i know were there pups shortly not mines a guy down south cheers Quote Link to post

frost 4
She died at age 13 a few years back and the pup i bred out of her died two year ago and there are people on this site can validate what i say about her.She was a 3/4greyhound 1/4 collie out of Chuckles and was 24 tts and took all quarry and was only dog i have ever seen kill 4 out of 4 hares in the one day all be it they were not given fair law as around here you cant afford to give that kind of slip. The bitch i have at the moment from Hancock is also a 3/4 grey 1/4 collie out of Luke and Copper and her only fault is she is quite timid around strangers which i take the blame for as i never really sociallised her with outsiders just concentrated on her training.
