jazz_11 5
you do pay for the name but again its all about personal preferance.... i had a bsa lightning and it was ok i then spen 300 on a bsa scorpion a lovely gun but not very nice trigger, i then sold that and bought a air arms s410 which i do like the trigger and its a better gun In my opinion, now if i sell my air arms any time soon ill get a rapid 7... They are usually made better and more accurate. If you have a 12ft.lb westlake B2, and a 12ft.lb Theoben MFR, which one do you think is better Quote Link to post

paddy.t 5
Like most have said, its just personal preference. If you have 700 quid spare to spend on a gun, then why not. But you can get something just as good if not better for 200-300 quid. I suppose it just depends on how much money you have comeing in. It nearly killed me spending 350 on my new gun, but ill make sure it last me all my fecking life. Money isnt an object to some people. Quote Link to post

clubshot 22
Best one is Shooters complaining Air Guns cost more than Fire Arms Ones a tube with a Firing Pin - And a lot more are made than Air Gun's The other needs Valving and Air Tank Prices Also depend on where and when it was made Going to be interesting - following £ Crashing Cheaper overseas are no going to be dearer than UK made Gun's Thankfully I have not plan's to buy any New ones for the forseeable future BOB/R Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
i have been thinking this too i bought a bsa supersport and have been thinking of buying a pcp the thing is i can get a group of 4 in a 2cm/2cm hole at 30yrds max recomended distance for game. so why do i want a pcp?!!! i want to buy the logun up for sale but cant bring myself to becasue it wont be much better i will still only be able to shoot at the same range so what benefits are there to a pcp?!?!?!?! help! brand names mate i do a load of mountain biking and ride an aftermarket bike the place i ride you see these blokes on 2grand bikes and i can out huck style and trick them 10 times over (not boasting or anything) its not usually the tool or though it does help but its the workman use a cheap gun get good then treat yourself i say but only if there is benifits such as multi shot lighter quieter you know the jiz. Jayd 0
My outlook is that, unless it's something I really want, I'll just wait until one comes up second hand. I paid less than half of it's new price, got pellets, scope and bag with it. Twas a Weihrauch HW77K, and I like this one much more than the old Cometa or Webley I had. Even if it feels a little heavy at times. Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
I'll try this analogy if it helps. You can buy a Ferrari, a Land Rover, a second hand Ford Escort or even a Jaguar E-Type. But you can only legally travel 70mph on British motorways. Does that make sense? Quote Link to post
Shooter08 0
Yeah Move To Germany There Isn't a Limit On The Autobahns Is The? Or Am I Wrong Lol? Quote Link to post
