Tyla 3,179 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Share Posted January 26, 2009 We were all set to go out but it was blowing a gale and the rain was unreal, almost everywhere is flooded at the moment. i ended up pacing around the house for a couple hours then eventually donned the waterproofs and went out with the airgun, ended up soaked but with a squirrel. its not ferreting but at least i tried! It seemed to take a while for them to bolt. My friend, the driver, took his 6 month old saluki x greyhound pup out and it was galloping about with my friends collie x whippet/grey and it ended up lame with a bruised knuckle. It was the pups first time ferreting with it being young but it was alright till it lamed itself, so we decided to call it a day to get the pup back and avoid risking further damage to it Quote Link to post
poacherkev 64 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Share Posted January 26, 2009 Well i did have it all planed to go out with the ferts on sunday but my son sliped over on a bit of my left over DIY bits of timber and knocked himself out cold so we spent the day at the hospital getting x-rays etc with her indoors telling me its all my fault and i should clean up properley instead of rushing to get out with them bloody ferts . But hes all ok now so maybe next weekend Quote Link to post
