thomps125 49 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Share Posted January 26, 2009 friday morning i got up as normal 7am came down stairs and let the 2 dogs out let them back in and went back upstairs i then came back down at 9am 2 be greeted by my bull x but the bedlinton grey/collie grey pup only 9weeks was sat in the bed in a funny postion...not normal at all i went over to him and was very depressd as i went to pick him up he yelpd so i just stood back n noticed his nose was dry n his tounge 2 so i thort dehidration he wudnt drink from a bowl so i sqwirted a few drops in his mouf n he perkd up abit..but wudnt open his mouf more then a cm i thort for the worse and took him strate to vet thinkin he may of swalowed something they new he was in pain n kept him in for xrays etc.... later on they rang me 2 ask if i had hurt his neck in any way ..whitch i havent they said he may have a broken neck or back complety shocked i was like how..they said well it hasent came up on the xrays but it could be *broken neck *broken spine *fluid on the brain *traped nerv then they said they would keep him over night with some inflamitry injections and ring me in the morning...first thing they foned me and said he was looking a little bit better..but if worse came to it would i be prepared to put him to sleep i said i would have 2 confirm with my partner..they said its just we think he may have a fit 15minits later they rang me back saying he died...and they was saying it could of bin menijitis# i was gutted as ive had him only a week and it was for my partner who is so upset of our lose Quote Link to post Share on other sites
