I'd bear in mind, it doesn't matter how safe you are, it's sometimes others. I've come off on more than one occasion due to my lack of judgement when I was younger and on bikes a bit quicker than this one, but year before last I was hit front on by someone not paying attention when coming down a narrow road. Just food for thought mind. Answer with insurance is to shop around - I had a 125LC at 17, and the insurance on that was about £450TPFT. Not really worth going fully comp in my opinion, and not worth buying a brand spanker for your first proper bike, again in my opinion. Hope this helps. Quote Link to post

stealthy1 3,964 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Share Posted January 26, 2009 i have got a 125cc hondaXLR(foranyone who likes bikes) which i will be ridiing in a few months once im 17 and i am also getting ferrets in the summer, now comes the good part; if i have the box on my back or mounted on the bike would it be ok to ride to my permission and back with me ferrets on me back. as well as my other kit? or would they die of fright and the wind? sorry if this sounds dumb but i think it could work thats not dumb transport is transport, seen dogs on bikes . only thing is bringing back your haul Panniers!
