ps MTS get a book on biochemistry lol.

Hi s

Would you be so kind as to suggest one to me ....that is dog specific?

Why would it have to be dog specific? internal respiration isn't dog specific indeed as explained above it's pretty non specific. It should contain something like this.

Glycolysis= glucose + 2 NAD+ + 2 ADP + 2 Pi à 2 pyruvate + 2 NADH + 2 ATP

Gluconeogenesis= 2 pyruvate + 2 NADH + 4 ATP + 2 GTP à glucose + 2 NAD+ + 4 ADP + 2 GDP + 6 Pi

Glycolysis yields 2 ~P bonds of ATP.

Gluconeogenesis expends 6 ~P bonds of ATP and GTP.

The two processes are not utilised together as it would waste 4~P bonds per cycle.

Thanks for that

The above biochemistry if irrepective of omnivors/carnivors/herbivores/insectivores or idiotivores lol. I'll do pictures next time lol.
