lamping

Recommended Posts

hi,just out of curiosity,i was wondering. how many of you keep dogs solely for lamping and why. is it because your dogs don't do daylight,is it because you work or is it because you dont have any pussy to chase.

plenty of pussy my way lad...

fair do's bud,so if you do a bit of lamping ,what possesses you to go out the house at 11 o'clock at night when it's pissing of rain and blowing a gale for a rabbit or an old manged fox, cheers for the reply

i dont know if you work or not - but what could possess you to get up and work 9-5 during the day with kids n mums hogging the road - the air full of car fumes and belched crap !!!!

it might be the same reason as lampers... its a job and has to be done. :)

sunday morning ( yest ) i was up at 5am for a spot of rabbit shooting and while i didnt get anything, i enjoyed how quiet it was and saw the sun come up.. it was nice.

I can see where you're coming from, I sometimes wonder what makes me go out late at night, get soaking wet get told off by my fiance for walking to fast or to slow, or for being dragged around by my insane hound, but when you get to slip your dog on a rabbit and watch the chase nothing else matters,

I was out the other night walking around in mud up to my knees, horse-shit and i was soaking wet, and had been told not to wear my waterproofs as i would make too much noise, but Parker had a really good run corsing a bunny around the field for what seemed like ages!

I take my dogs out during the day but there arent the number of rabbits about in the day time. We usually go ferreting in the day time and get rabbits that way.

People enjoy the things they enjoy if everyone liked the same thing the world would be a boring place!!!
