stubby 175
or release him far away.Foxy it may be consided unlawful under animal welfare legalislation to release a fox in to unfamiliar surroundings, ie outside of its home range Quote Link to post
Halfinch 51
If you want to stay out of prison mate id ignore 95% of the above replies!! Get yourself a live catch fox cage, bait it with scraps from the kitchen or a dead rabbit then either despatch him with a rimmy or release him far away. Foxy One of which will get you 5yrs if you don't hold an fac, and the other could get you in a load of shite for releasing an nuisance animal in unknown territory. Quote Link to post
will.f11 24
release it far away, make sure you have a decent lurcher to retrieve it back though Quote Link to post

Guest Countryboyo
How much would you get a live trap for? Quote Link to post
jazz_11 5
theres a few things you could do.... p*ss round the cage, this will lay down a human scent and therefor the fox shouldnt come close. i would never in a million years shoot a fox which came in the garden as i will prob have the police around her in no time due to my neighbours and plus i dont have the correct tool. JordKil 0
Well as said its very unlikely that pissing on my shed will do much apart form make me look a fool. As there's more than one fox a i recently noticed. There was a vixen a few nights ago sitting in a field (for dog walking) that i had my dog and my gorlfriends huge gsd/husky playing about at night and the vixen just sat and watched at 10 yards away. Luckily the dogs were too busy too notice as she ran off the edge of the field on to the railway bank which is a 20 foot vertical drop! I'll speak to the farmers when I next go on the hunt for permission and warn him about them and suggest that the closest farmer actually gets a gun! Considering the foxes have been killing his lambs for years!! Cheers Jordan Quote Link to post

Matt 160
Big stick if you can get close enough, poisoned rabbit carcass or big stick with a pipe on it if you cant... Just so that everyone is clear, it is ILLEGAL to poison, or attempt to poison foxes in the UK. Quote Link to post
victor 10
if you got liek paddoks around you and a dog that will take it as yo said if you had the dog, i know you want to be legal. but feck it. go lamping for the b*****d. dog will have fun and the fox wont come back, aslong as you kill it Quote Link to post

Sorry, was a bit of a tongue in cheek comment! hence why it'd need running over with a car... lol Poison is one of my least favourite methods of vermin control, i would much sooner see a clean dispatch whether by gun or (Where legal - of course!) dog. Ginette 0
Human piss and hair won't discourage a fox, I know, have tried. Neither will a JR bitch or human constantly giving chase. If a fox is determined only killing it will solve the problem. We even had a prob with the fox coming during the day to take hens. Would a really hungry fox look to taking ferrets for food?
