Hi if i were to buy an air arms s200 would it be a gun for life? what i want is to buy a rifle that i can rely on i dont want to think after a year that i want to change for some reason like it needs to be refilled every 20 shots or parts need replacing every 4 months of heavy use. any suggestions? also are they multi shot? the one im looking at has a Simmons ProAir 3-9x40 scope any good? any info on this particular rifle would be much appreciated.

How many shots does yours do before a re-fill? what is required in cleaning such a gun? i have only used a springer. is yours multi shot? also is £350 a good price for a new one with the scope mentioned above? i have to say the stock doesent look too good but thats doesent bother me really.

Times are changing and life moves on, there is nothing wrong with the 200 but I don't see it as the gun to buy today for life!

You need to consider a multishot for sure in my opinion!

I disagree the s200 is a very good gun and the 10 shot conversion works very well i get 40 shots from mine and it's never let me down.

Nice one J, the S200 is the most under rated air rifle on the planet, talk about value and reliability for half the cost of the S410 and you're just about there

Mad al is your gun still being advertised? how much were you asking? jamie the hunter 40 shots doesent seem much that wouldnt last me long at my friends house he lives a million miles from anywhere so if i went hunting there as i do often i would run out too early meaning a long drive to the closest gun shop 40 mins away. and diving bottles are not cheap neither are pumps? how many shots does a single shot aas200 give?

the single shot gives exactly the same as a multi, get yourself a pump for about a £115 new, keep at it and you'll soon have better things to do than feck about on here

You disagree that a multishot is the way to go but talk about a 200 with a multishot conversion :hmm::hmm:

the thing is i stay at my friends for weeks at a time and we also like to feck about in his really long corridor/ zeroing range so 40 is not ideal is it possible to get upgrades to cope with more shots? anyone ever used the gun shop/smith Ben taylor and sons? he is local to me never been there because he only deals with pcps and not springers.
