Decent price

I'd say the rifle on it's own is worth around £300, the cylinder, not a size I'd buy so I'd be thinking £75, so if the rifle has a scope £400 but the reality of not being used I'd offer £300 for the lot

Depends what condition the rifle is in...

Doesn't matter how often it's been used, or how old it is, if it's not been looked after he should be paying you to take it away.

Likewise buying a second hand diving bottle. Is it still in test? Does it have an visible damage to the cylinder?

I'm not even going to post a figure because I could be f*cking miles away from it's real value.

Decide how much you want to spend and decide whether it's worth you spending your money. For a mint rifle most gun shops will not exceed 60% of the original price. So get your calculator out. ;)

the gun is in perfect condition apart from seal on filling cap has gone, It is scoped. Bottle is out of test but i wouldnt mind having it done. Ive used all the kit myself. Although he hardly ever uses his kit when he does he looks after it and cleans it.

I would prefer a 3ltr bottle but new ones can be stupid prices.

Im not sure weather i would just sell the gun to my mate whos after one or keep it so ive got .177 and .22 so my grandad can use one when we are out.
