Guest Magwitch
Had a special job this weekend, the farmer asked Tony and I to clear his release pen of rabbits and as a special treat allowed me to take young Ted my Beddy Whippet, this being his first trip out since Christmas due to barbed wire injuries. He's a right handful my Ted but boy can he nail rabbits, he is just so full of murderous intent. Anyway back to ferreting, we ran two fifty yard long nets out and divided the release pen into three equal parts and entered the pugs into the right hand side, all hell broke loose and within 15-20 minutes we had roughly 18 rabbits and with the dog picking up rabbits left right and centre we managed 28 rabbits just from the release pen alone. Moving to some more open buries Ted was firing on all four still and giving 110% and the pugs working hard too. Anyway here's a few picture's of how the day unfolded.........................Final bag 43 Quote Link to post
