It looked more likes millets second picture when it took off,,,And i have been no where nere out with the dogs or ferrets last few days beacuse i have been feeling ill. May of looked to me like a buzzard but i dont know how many times i have you tell you lot it was not lol and i could tell that when it flew up into the tree and sat there,,I reckon its excaped from somewhere personly,, As i have not even got that close to a buzzard,,And i have seen lot of buzzards in my life as we have hundreds and hundreds around here. All i can say if without anyone actully seing it like i did or me getting concrete evedence no one is going to belive me.

There's wildlife photographers spend their lifes trying to get close to these regal birds but Rod and Dog gets to within 40 yards with three dog's and can see there's no rings or anklet's present :icon_eek:

i once came accros a prope3r wild cat, ear tufts the lot a couple miles outside a town center!...

A wild cat does not have ear tufts.

Rod and dog it could of been a sea eagle as I read in the shooting times they are releasing them in the UK but if it had been released it would of had a wing tag

Aye mate that's right, but they are releasing then in the Scottish islands.

i've been talkin to a farmer friend in norfolk he has been complaining that they are ae releasing sea eagles on the norfolk coast. he was told from defra

they released them in ireland last year aswell but farmers poisoned them all after only a short period of time

The second picture is a Buzzard carrying a dead rat..when they take of infront of you they do look massive but you would have to see a genuine eagle to know how big THEY really are..

The top picture is a male golden eagle with a wing span of around 6/7ft and that is still twice the size of a female buzzard and it is very hard to mistake the 2 of them when you see them together..

Millet

I didn't realise how big the golden eagle was until I saw one in the Scottish Highlands a few years back.
