Deker 3,478
Kay Mortar can fall but it is unlikely to carry on like this, the most likely cause is mice, rats or squirrel, (don't think the Glis Glis has got to your part of the world yet) they may just be in the cavity at the moment hence no sign in the loft space. Rodents knaw, thats what rodent means, and they often chew cables which is commonly the end of them and can cause fires or expensive repairs, problem is there is seldon just the one!! ATB! greg64 2,842
if they are rats dont poison them because if they die in your cavity wall the smell in your house will be horendous,
MTS 0
For a few weeks now i have been puzzled at a kind of dropping sound that i can only think is coming from between the breeze blocks & outer brick shell thing my house is made from Its hard to describe but sounds like somethings being dropped , is there a chance its something alive like mice or dont they go in them places It is more likely to be rats........buy yourself a proper lockable poison bait box and get it sorted. the noise should stop in a day or two. BTW there is an excellent horror story by HP Lovecraft http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rats_in_the_Walls
