I believe you meant to ask about the Border Terrier.

But I'm confused as to the question why shouldn't Borders be allowed on digs?,and why should they stick to rats?.

Borders are excellent little gamey Terriers and work old charlie well in the right hands,which is what they were originally bred for.

I myself work a Black Fell bitch but I work the earths occasionally with friends Borders who have turned out to be excellent little foxers.

PS Please ignore this if you are asking about your lodger called Terrie and his/her effectiveness against Charlie the troglodyte.

you ve never seen a good border have you , i must admit its been along time since i saw a good one but ive seen plenty over the years , one of the best dogs i ever owned was a border x lakie hell of a firey little dog with no reverse gear and that was her downfall
