Little Butch 16
You got a pic mate? He's probably not 'thin' they bulk out as they get older.. Butch
sandymere 8,263
As above they tend to bulk up as they mature and each has a different amount to muscle to gain depending on breeding etc. If the pup is eating plenty and getting sensible exercise for it's age then i wouldn't worry to much. At a push add a little more fat to the diet.
lurchergrrl 1,441
What do you feed her Sambo? Has she been wormed regularly? (not just once or twice) Tripe is great for putting weight on a dog. The green stinky unwashed tripe, not the white wiggly stuff what sits in a dish in the butchers display cabinet  If you're feeding her raw food, add some tripe to her diet. Also maybe a bit more chicken fat, like the skin, and lamb. Just be careful with the fat as they can get the squits. Pups tend to grow out, then up, then out, then up ... if you get me. One day they look chubby, the next a bit skinny as they grow into themselves. If she's eating well and often, been regularly wormed etc she may just be on a growth spurt. Guest chook
Personaly i would leave off till at least 2 years old as your dog will still be growing, and they dont start to fill out till later, if once its fully grown - the dogs still on the thin side, then try satin balls, theses will put weight on, http://theherbs.info/Pets/satinball.html The total cereal is just cornflakes, most of the other stuff you can get in the supermarket.
