When I get my Harris later this year would a pair of Buzzard's that come over now and again be a problem when I'm out with the bird.

And this may be a silly one but power lines, how bad are they for the Harris as you see birds on them all day long so why cant the Harris land on them?

Power lines them selves arnt such a problem its the transformer boxes at the end these can kill your bird if your not carefull. To be on the safe side id keep your bird away from them full stop. As for the buzzards they will stoop at a bop in a tree for example but its not that common. just be very carefull around breeding time if your flying your bird as they may have young and they will defend them whatever it takes.

Hope this helps.

Harris' will take buzzards but its best to get the bird back on your fist if the buzzards start been interested in your bird. Buzzards may only have small feet but they have a really powerful grip. They will make a mess of your bird if it can.

I'll second that! a mate was nailed on the arm by a Imprint female foster bird! she pushed her talons in him like a knife through butter ...
