Do you have any superstitions or wee rituals that you perform to ward of bad luck. Mine is not naming any new dog after what has gone before, I did this once and the dog was killed by a train. Bad luck to have a robin in the house. Peacock feathers in the house are bad luck. If you put on an item of clothing (accidentally) inside out it's good luck - to then change it would be bad!
