2 piece roundmouth!

Recommended Posts

As things are naughty with the dogs now-a-days i've made myself a 2 piece shovel, a mate has had one for some time, and was impressed with the idea so decided to make myself one.

Its to stop any thoughts from the public,

instead of carrying a shovel in view to all,

everytime i'm out an about and getting noticed, this little design allows me to walk freely and un-concerened,

fits lovely into a walkers bag,

so with a rucksack on my back, and a terrier on the lead-

i'm just an ordinary dog walker!:tongue2:

American roundpoint standard next to American two-piece shovel made from water pipe handle.

The two-piece was still unused in this photo, but it has stood up.

A tip -- where the thread connectors cut into the pipe handle, fill the pipe solid with epoxy to strengthen that area. That is where structural failure will occur if it occurs anywhere.

Good work Tarmac :good: Although if I was you I'd go alone because if you walk out with Diesel people will think he's your boyfriend instead of Darcy's (there is a rumour he share's him with Rob !):laugh:

nothing wrong with shareing :D what i must say is tarmac was not as tight as diesel, but thats down to him hanging around with that darcy fellow ..

yes you've got it lads- metal pipe, around 1 inch'. Threaded, used a pipe connector for the joint, welded onto the shovel head. simple really-

could possibly make a couple more if any lads are intrested for a reasonable price...

You can buy reasonable digging tols at car boot sales very cheaply, all you have to do is leave them in the areas you expect to be having a dig. Then if you do get tugged you wont have any type of digging gear in your possesion cut down or not.

It might not be practical in some areas, so credit to you Tarmac a good idea.
