ferret covered in ticks

one of the lads i know had been given a found ferret he wanted me to have a look at it to see the sex so brought it round last nite had a look it was a hob it looked old i think as had grey hair and a bit skinny but has been well handled he wants it for a young lad so i said i would keep it till the weekend so put it in the cage what a sorting out it got of the jills for a while then okay come hame from work had a look at it the poor thing was covered in ticks must of had 20 easy pulled 7ish off with the puller then gave it a spray took it back to the lad as dont want mine getting any so cleaned my cage fully and checked all 4 but never found owt so fingers crossed will keep an eye on them my mate has a cage but the one he is building is for the young lad told him to get it to vets so hope its okay

Cover tick with vasaline it cant breath so detaches no chance of leaving head behind if you pull them

had one last year she went from white to grey then black counted over 70 and gave up the gav her a good dose of frontline

the poor we thing was covered in its ears and mostly on top[ of his neck sprayed him with a tick spray so hope he gets better
