Take the fur and stretch it on a frame somehow then scrape the guts and crap off the skin and rub salt in and leave for a while yeah? Nothing else? Wouldnt the fur need some kind of treatment too? We can get loads of rabbits in 1 sitting and with that much fur could make anything really. So the fur would need to be plyable and not stink of dead rabbit and the fur will need to be really soft too, something you would be happy to keep lying around on the sofa in your front room. NID 0 Posted February 2, 2009 Report Share Posted February 2, 2009 Couple of ways to do it,don't use salt as this makes the skin hard and unworkable, treat it with Borax available at most chemists not expensive or send to snowdonia taxidermy for tanning kit. atb NID.
