number 1 lamper 0
beddy grey collie grey whippet grey bitch for sale. She is 5 yr old, a good all round bitch, lamping, bushing with terriers, broken to ferrets, had her a long time. Reason for sale is trying to bring on a lurcher pup and too many dogs. Must go to a good working home £100 but the good home is more important than the money.

poacherkev 64
If shes as good as you say why sell her for a £100 ? most lurcher men keep a good dog to help bring on a pup as it makes life easy .if she's as good as you say and you want a good home then you need to put your price up as £100 is nowt for a good dog i'v paid more then that for a pup . Terrier man 38
I'd have trouble giving up a dog that looked at me like that. very true. why geta pup if you have too many dogs on anyway?? Might be wrong here.. but it seems as if hes bred the bitch and kept two pups left... now the bitch is for sale as he wants too put time into the two 6mth old pups and does not have time for this "good all round bitch" ... johnrussell84 2,832
A dog at 5 is in its prime why would you give that up in the middle of a season to play with pups that just doesnt happen not if shes as good as the description. Whats the catch
skycat 6,173
How anyone can sell a good bitch they've 'had a long time' is beyond me. Are dogs just tools to buy and sell as the fancy moves you? Don't you have any feelings for the bitch? I guess in that case she'd be better off with someone who will at least give her a good permanent home: though sadly she's more likely to be bought by another wannabee fly by night who'll get rid as soon as she shows signs of injury or age. Makes my blood boil! I've got a 12 year old, a 10 year old and an 8 year old here: all semi retired but still more than capable of the odd rabbit or something else! A dog that has served you well deserves to live out its life in peace, not be passed from pillar to post. Rant over and no apologies for butting in on a for sale thread either. Bootsha 1,306
Heres another for the dog carousel i fear !! Jaysus man what on earth are you getting rid of a tried and tested and loyal bitch for ?? You must have a lot of confidence in these pups that your bringing on. Have a good think mate just in case you regret your decision before she goes.
