at a guess , whippet x greyhound

thanks mate. that what i thought but do you think they could take the bigger quarrey?

believe it or not, my best foxdog was a whippet/grey, she passed away with parvo about for years ago. i averaged about 6 bunnies with her on the lamp, the biggest haul was 16 and 1 dec hare. i still have her line running. the daughter of her is posted on the topic, what makes the best bull lurcher on moocher site! the only fault i had with her was the she had a fine skin. over the right terrain she was a bullet!

can any one tell me what they think the best and quickest lurcher cross

bull/greyhound x subaru :D seriously though i'd go with whippet/greyhound, but i think they'd lack a bit of stamina, and i would'nt put the speed at the top of my list ;)

i thought she was in pup to a track greyhound but i think i left her to late and missed her. the guy who owns her left her in overnight to see if shed stand eventually, but doesnt think she did. stamina for a daytime winter hare was a bit short. a couple of heavy runs was her limit.

the best might not be necesserally the quickest, other qualities to look out for depending on the job you want the dog for are good feet , good mouth, good wind, conformation and a confident temprement. the quicker type lurchers are normaly the ones whos working lives are cut short due to injurys.

BANG ON!!! :good:
